Richard’s Mom

Our meeting with Richard’s Mom, Sissy, to discuss Richard’s school needs. We learned that she lost her husband ten years ago and since then struggled to keep Richard in school. She loves her son very much and tells us how hard she works to make sure he at least learns how to read. Sissy only makes $4050JA per week to sustain a family of five. Now keep in mind $4050JA is about $10US a day.

On the other hand Sissy is also a giver. She gives clothing to the children at the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf. One hand helping another…pass it on.
